Feeling Spiritual or ....

                               Walking Humbly with Jesus

You aren’t going to feel divine and righteous and saintly and pure, that’s a church mis-
conception about the Christian walk. Forget your feelings about being close to the Lord, just
believe He is with you and leave it at that. He said. “I will never leave thee nor forsake
thee’ (Hebrews 13: 5b) so once you have accepted Him and His
Salvation through Grace….
Believe it, and rest assured He is with you. Why, because '
Jesus has never lost a sheep' ever,
and you aren’t going to be the first one. Your Salvation is and was forever because He did
it and not you. It was and is by His '
Grace and not your works'. So relax and quite worrying. Donâ
€™t doubt he is with you, but act as if he is whether you feel like it or not.

Don’t expect the feelings of closeness all the time because you just won’t have them
all the time. Nevertheless the fact remains that the Lord still loves you all the time no matter
what your feelings are. He is constant and His love is eternal so forget your feelings, as they
come and go in time and according to circumstance. Ha, for sometimes you are going to feel
like ‘hell’ even though you are destined for ‘heaven’.

All you have to do is stay faithful everyday and do your best daily. You aren’t going to
move mountains everyday, so just help those along the way that the Lord brings by. Don’t
expect a halo over your head to be seen by others or for you to look up to, just believe in love
and show love and walk humbly with your God as the prophet said.

Keep your conscience clear by trying your best, and obeying when the Lord tells you to do
something, no matter how small. But don’t expect instant rewards, just obey and rest
assured that the Lord has seen what you have done. Don’t expect to be on some spiritual
high all the time, because ‘it just ain’t a goin to happen’. You aren’t going to be
some overnight spiritual giant, so be content to be just a faithful nobody. For even if you are
elevated by the Lord, you will still just be a faithful nobody that the Lord loves and cares for
and will provide for … relax and be faithful and do your best.

You don’t have to have great dreams and visions, and do mighty exploits all the time. For if
only once in your life this happens, be thankful that you are useful to the Lord. Just keep going
for the Lord and others daily and the rest will take care of itself. Be faithful in the little things,
and the bigger things will take care of themselves.

Don’t expect too much from yourself, as you are saved by Grace and still remain only by
Grace, and for anything good to come from you or any of us, it has to be the LORD.

So RELAX and just love and keep walking humbly with your God

what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly,
and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in
them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Romans 6:23  For by grace are ye saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God.

Luke 9:23  And (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
