The Rod of David and Root of Jesse
                                    (Isaiah 11)

Consider the following verses, and what the Lord's Rod means to us in the End-Time, as The Lord shall give us His Rod and His
Shepherds. My comments are in parenthesis ---- (  ).

Isa 11:1  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (Jesus is the
Vine, and we are the Branches, and He gives us Two Zions or Branches to lead and guide us in the Tribulation  -SEE
There will be
Two Prophets)
Jer 23:5  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David (The Lord shall raise unto King David of Old a
new
David in the End-Time) a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the
earth.
Jer 23:7  Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought
up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;  (Exactly Lord, we won't be looking back at the past, but ahead to the
future)
Jer  23:8   But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which ledthe seed of the house of Israel out of the north country,
and from all countries whither I had driven them; (SEE
Last Gathering & New Nation Prophecies) and they shall dwell in their
own land. - First in Petra and then in the Lord's Earth during the Millinium)

And returning to Isaiah
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and
might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; (The Spirit of the Lord doesn't rest upon the Lord of Lords because
He is already the Lord and has always had the Spirit, and He doesn't get wisdom and understanding as he has all Knowledge and
Understanding from the very beginning, so this isn't talking about Jesus, but about a man, our King David in the End-Time--- for
later in isaiah 55: 5-7 The Lord says, 'A and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold,
I have given him for a witness to the people, -(One of the twoWitnesses of Revelation 11-)  a  leader and commander to the
people  Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the
LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.)

Isa 11:3  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: (Again the Lord doesn't need to get fear of
himself, but this is talking about our future king) and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing
of his ears: (Yes, exactly as our king and priest shall judge righteous judgment.  COMPARE Jeremiah 33:15  In those days, and at
that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the
land.)

Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite
the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. (Yes the Lord can do this, but our
prophets have fire coming from their mouths as well SEE
Firebreathing Prophets)

Isa 11:5  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. (Just as the Lord is girdled
with righteousness and faithfulness)

Isa 11:6-7 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard  shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young
lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down
together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp,  and the weaned child
shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. (Wait a  minute , we are usually told that these scriptures are referring to the Millinium,
but maybe not as before then it seems the Lord has made a Covenant with us to protect us and have us lie down safely in the
wilderness.(SEE Hosea 2, Isaiah 55-3, Ezekeiel 34; 25)  so why couldn't the Lord cease the enemity between us and his wild
animals.

Isa 11:9-10 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain and the Earth shall be full of the knowledge of the
LORD, as the waters cover the sea Forr surely we shall have peace and knowledge of the Lord in His Encampment) And in that
day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be
glorious. (Yes Jesus was in the lineage of Jesse, but Joseph was not his father, as Jesus was born of Mary, but surely the
covenant of David shall be fulfilled in the descendants of Jesse, so that a New David, our King in the End-Time shall rise)

Isa 11:11-13  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the
remnant of his people,   And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel,
SEE
Encouragement for the Outcasts) and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Yes our
multinational forsaken ones shall gather into a NEW NATION, the final
144,000)  The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the
adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not  envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. (Sounds like the two sticks
becoming One classes of brethren joining as one maybe the Jews and the Gentiles becoming Christians COMPARE Ezekiel 37; 21
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be
gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: Eze 37:22  And I will make them one nation in the
land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they
be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:)

Isa 11:14-15  But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east
together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. (Yes we head East from
Jerusalem
Cross the Jordan to Ammon and Moab and Edom.)  And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian
sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his  hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over
dryshod. (Yes See
Shepherds Rod)

Isa 11:16  And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his  people, which shall be left, from Assyria; (SEE
King's
Highway) like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. (Exactly, Lord, as there shall be a SECOND
EXODUS in the End-Time)

In my opinion from the Lord's prophecy
