Location of the Garden of Eden

Because the Bible is literal and can be shown to be scientific according to its truths, we should be able to figure
out where approximately the Garden of Eden was located. For again we know that
Adam and Eve were literaly the
first humans created, so where was their Garden geographically located ?

Personnally I don't know for sure, but I think we can make an educated guess from scriptures. For let's see, its
talked about in Genesis 2, the second chapter of the Book of Creation, given directly to Moses face to face by the
Creator himself....and maybe I can add my thoughts in parathensis .....(...)  afterwards.

Genesis 2: 8 And the LORD God planted a Garden EASTWARD
in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
(Hmm ....from the details given, it sounds like the Lord is
situated West of Eden, because he puts the garden East of his
postion. So what position would that be geographically. Well surely
this is Jerusalem, that David established a few thousand years later.
This is the place where the Word's of the Lord shall flow from to
water the whole Earth. So this gives us His starting point. IMO)

Gen 2:9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow
every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food;
the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree
of knowledge of good and evil.  (Yes the Lord was the creator
of all things, the good as well as the bad, for everything has its
time and purpose, even His created devil, until thier usefulness
is no more. SEE
Prophecy Board)

Gen 2:10-12  And a river went out of Eden to water the Garden;
and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
The name of the first is Pison: that is it which
compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is
gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium
and the onyx stone.

Gen 2:13-14  And the name of the second river is Gihon:
the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it
which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth
river is Euphrates.

So we have four rivers seeming to go into four directions from probably the Tree of Life (SEE Revelation 22) in the
middle of the Garden. But where is this on the map, as today we only see the Eurphrates River, which does happen
to be East of Jeruslaem. Well, let's go directly East from our starting point of Jerusalem using this map of
Iraq It's
below the 32 latuitude blue line and between the two longitude blue lines of 44 and 46, meaning at 45 degrees East
longitude. (This will be important in our discussions about Russian later) Do you see a spot just below Al Hayy,
half way between Bagdad and its ocean ports on the Tigris. at a seeming 45 degree angle.  So there's our latitude of
31. 68  SEE (
Jesus and Bethlehem's Latitude) or a few minutes lower at Jerusalem's latitude of 31 degrees 47
minutes as they are only ten miles from each other. (SEE Easy to use Calculations
Here)

But wait a minute, that's hardly a lush tropical garden but just the opposite now. Right ? Ah YES, but you forget
there was a worldwide change and a climate change. And the
Flood in Noah's Time,  covered the ground with
layers and layers of sediment, as it receeded, did it not ? For that's the reason why there is so much oil in this
region right now. Layers osoil and rock covered the lush vegetation of the Garden, and turned it through
compression and time into the fossel fuel we use called oil.

For YES, for that is why Iraq has such great oil deposits because oil is just compressed vegetation, carbon products
from its past plant life. Just another reason why, that may be the exact spot where the Garden of Eden was, for
remember the Lord Word's is exact if we can understand it exactly.

And considering some of the other co-ordinates that relate to this supposed starting point of
Creation here on Earth, in Russia and England, East and West, we may have the Garden's approximate location
pretty close.

In My Opinion

David
